Live Poker tourney this Saturday night at the CORE, Feb. 3rd at 7:00pm. $40 buy in. Similar to other home and Casino Texas Holdem games. 30 & 20 minute blind levels [blinds gradually increase & game continues until a final winner emerges. Payout goes to roughly the top 25% of players, and game will likely end between 11:00 pm & midnight. Players start with 400 chips, and blinds start at 1-2 level, reaching 100-200 or more in the final rounds. Rebuys allowed through the first 3 levels (3-6) for an addtl $40; with no add-ons or top-ups. Players can surrender chip stacks and buy a new stack at the end of level 3.
Players are encouraged to assemble in the core activity room between 6:30 and 7:00pm; game will begin promptly at 7:00 pm. Residents are welcome to bring guests (family or friends only, please), up to a maximum of 24 players. Tower Oaks Neighborhood drop-ins are welcome, but:

Payout goes to top two players with 7-10 buyins, three with 11-14 buy-ins (or four, w. more than 15 players, 5 w.19+ Buyins, and etc)—roughly the top 25% of players. Payouts (as a share of total buy-ins): 60% and 40% with 2, 50%, 30%, 20% with 3, 45%, 30%, 15%, 10% with 4; 35/25/20/13/7% with 5, and 30/22/18/14/9/7 with 6 (25 or more buy-ins)
